The Origin
Pulse Records isn’t a company.
It’s not a brand.
It’s a lifelong obsession turned into a passion project.
I’ve been part of the metal scene since the late ’80s — trading tapes, scouring fanzines, digging through crates at record fairs, and mailing demos halfway across the globe just to get a taste of something raw and real. Back then, there was no algorithm feeding you metal — you had to hunt for it, talk about it, live it.
That era shaped me, and it’s the reason Pulse Records exists today.
The Mission
In a world drowning in digital noise, Pulse Records is a safe haven for physical formats and the true underground.
It’s for those who still believe in:
- Holding the music in their hands
- Reading liner notes and staring at cover art
- The smell of vinyl, the hiss of a tape, the weight of a CD
- Supporting bands directly through their merch and music
